Brief introduction of payment of ex-gratia in case of death/disability due to accident under the ex-gratia module operated by the Government of India for the benefit of e-Shram Card holders.

The work of registration of unorganized workers was started from 26-08-2021 for the purpose of preparing a data base of unorganized workers through the e-Shram portal https://eshram.gov.in developed by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India. Gaya, on which a total of 8,31,35,374 workers have been registered in Uttar Pradesh till date 07-12-2023. Currently, it was started by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India from 26-08-2021, on which a total of 8,32,10,430 workers have been registered in Uttar Pradesh till 17-12-2023.

At present, the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India, from 26-08-2021 to 31-03-2022, for the benefit of the unorganized workers registered on the e-Shram portal https://eshram.gov.in, under the Ex-Gratia module in case of accident.
